These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of private hire vehicle services by Amway Airport (“we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Operator Details

Amway Airport is a licensed London Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) operator. We are responsible for accepting bookings and for the provision of private hire transportation services in accordance with the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 and applicable regulations.


2. Contractual Relationship

2.1 When you make a booking with Amway Airport, a legally binding contract is formed between you (the passenger) and Amway Airport.

2.2 This contract covers both:

  • the acceptance of the booking; and

  • the provision of the transportation services for the agreed journey.

2.3 Drivers engaged to carry out journeys do so on behalf of Amway Airport. Drivers are not contracting directly with passengers.


3. Bookings

3.1 All bookings must be made in advance through our website, email, telephone, or other approved booking channels.

3.2 Minimum Notice Period: Amway Airport operates on a pre-booked basis only. All bookings must be made at least 2 hours prior to the requested pickup time. We do not provide immediate or emergency bookings.

3.3 Amway Airport reserves the right to accept or decline any booking request at its discretion, including where the minimum notice period is not met.

3.4 Once a booking is accepted by Amway Airport, it may only be cancelled by Amway Airport in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

3.5 A driver may decline an offered job; however, this does not cancel the booking. Amway Airport remains responsible for fulfilling the booking.


4. Fares and Payment

4.1 Fares will be confirmed at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment may be collected:

  • directly by Amway Airport; or

  • by the driver acting as agent for Amway Airport.

4.3 All fares are payable in full in accordance with the agreed payment method.

4.4 Additional charges may apply for waiting time, parking, tolls, or changes requested by the passenger, where applicable and communicated in advance.


5. Cancellations and Amendments

5.1 Passenger cancellation terms, including any applicable charges, will be communicated at the time of booking.

5.2 Only Amway Airport may cancel a confirmed booking with a passenger.

5.3 In the event of cancellation by Amway Airport, we will take reasonable steps to inform the passenger as soon as possible and arrange an alternative where feasible.


6. Subcontracting

6.1 Amway Airport may subcontract a booking to another licensed London PHV operator.

6.2 Where subcontracting occurs, the original contract between Amway Airport and the passenger remains in force, and Amway Airport remains responsible for the transportation services.


7. Liability

7.1 Amway Airport accepts full responsibility and liability for the provision of the transportation services under the contract with the passenger.

7.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7.3 Amway Airport is responsible for any acts or omissions of drivers engaged in providing the transportation services on our behalf.


8. Passenger Responsibilities

8.1 Passengers must ensure that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate.

8.2 Passengers must comply with all reasonable instructions given by the driver for safety and legal compliance.

8.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to passengers whose behaviour poses a risk to the driver, vehicle, or others.


9. Equality and Accessibility

9.1 Amway Airport is committed to complying with the Equality Act 2010.

9.2 We do not discriminate on the basis of disability or any other protected characteristic.

9.3 Assistance dogs are carried at no additional charge in accordance with the law.


10. Complaints

10.1 Any complaints regarding our services should be submitted to Amway Airport directly.

10.2 We will investigate complaints promptly and fairly.


11. Data Protection

11.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.


12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.


13. Amendments

13.1 Amway Airport reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

13.2 The latest version will always be published on our website and will apply to all bookings made after the effective date.
